Over the next couple weeks Astronomy Cast will be tackling my favorite subject: The Inevitable End of Everything. I'll be honest when I say I only understand about 10% of what they say in that podcast, but Pamela and Fraser are just so dang pleasant to listen to.

Also it is late 90s/early 00s Emotional Rock day featuring the Get Up Kids and Alkaline Trio and man, this stuff holds up good.

Twenty-three days until Wigu's return!

I'm with you about that show. I love listening but if they aren't talking about physical things like rocks hitting stuff I'm lost.

One of the best things I saw in 2007 was Dr. Pamela doing a live astronomy cast from Dragon*Con in Atlanta. It was a great, fun topic that time too, about how little Science there is in Fiction.

Fraser and Pamela make me want to study science... it's scary.

Always felt that the Alkaline Trio were overrated. The Get Up Kids have some tunes, but I couldn't say the same for the Trio.
