I can't wait for my book. It will somehow make up for Monday being such a bitch. You hear me Monday? Fuck you!
Okay, now off to porn. Porn will make it alllll better.
It always does, doesn't it?
I think mine had a bear sketched on the inside cover. I'm not sure; it's so difficult to recognize bears when they aren't mauling my family.
hooray, I got mine! It was excellent. sexcellent. awesome. it was awesome.
I once left a wooden spoon on the stove and it caught fire.
which super heros did you call? Mine never seem to answer their phones.
I once left a wooden spoon in a pot of peanut brittle I was making, and it burned by magic.
When the sugar is boiling, you stand back and try hard not to die.
The same stove thing happened to me the other night. The roommate left it burning for five hours while we went out...enjoy the next gas bill!
the best is when you come back to a warm, smoke-filled apartment and come back to your oven to warm something up and realize your mistake. i wish that's how it went down when i left it on, but i ended up running around because i thought a fire was burning next door. luckily i snatched photos of the smoky place.
I am excited to get my book, but the people never put stuff in my mail box, they make me walk to the post office to get it!
Jeff when I left the oven on it ended in tragedy (a locksmith and burnt sausages) so the moral is that you should be glad that you had your keys?
i left the gas on at my bf's house while he was at work a few weeks ago. luckily didnt blow anything up

Got the book on Monday. Nice product. Took me a while to figure out if the stickers were stickers or decals - that would be the only decal on my car. I do miss the color in the comics.
Sign me, 11/900
I got my book yesterday! And it made an otherwise crappy day FABULOUS.
The book is pretty much awesome and a half, except I didn't get any stickers with mine :( Oh well, it's worth the price anyway! I especially love the extra text in the margins.
The first thing I noticed when I looked at the front cover of my book was a drawing of a piece of wheat that was saying "I'm gonna be a hot dog bun!" If this was what was written on number 259 I'd be worried to see what the 800s look like. I imagine a sort of small scribble with eyes, unintelligible accompanying text and some sort of blob that would resemble your signature, followed by a little bit of saliva.
The book is quite awesome though. The ads and superflous text on the sides were very entertaining. Like someone said above, I miss the comic being in color, but I'd imagine the cost to get it all printed in color, especially for a monthly or bi-monthly serial. Will there be a compilation released in a year or so with all of them together in color?

Color would cost 4X more and take at least a month longer to put out!
Well that would suck, especially for you. B&W is absolutely fine. As an aside, how much is it to advertise in these books?

#342! and it's awesome! thanks a bunch, Jeff rowland, you crazy man of the intarwub! Joe Gregory
You are an evil, evil little man, Jeffrey Rowland. I got home at 4 AM from working on homework, and found that I had recieved my copy. Despite being fuck all tired, I read every word printed on its pages. And now, for the next 2, 3, or 10 months, I must daily wake up to face the deep, comsuming, black void in my soul that can only be filled by the next Wigu instalment.
I got mine! With a fancy-schmancy strech limo with a spoiler, with "FANCY NIGHT 6: PATROL SQUAD" in groovy green. I'd see that. Is that one of the previews they're showing before the Greatest Story Ever Told, Snakes on a Plane? Awesome.
The last is all I read so far, with the best of that being Bruce's man-love plea for Dick to come back to him and Alfred's muffins.
Thank you Jeffrey Rowland. You have made this last night/meal of Passover worth it.

And then I sat down and read it. It was 30 times more enjoyable than reading Romeo and Juliet for my English class. However, because of the enjoyability of the comic book, I needed to stay up real late reading Act Four, which honestly I just skimmed. So now I'm going to get a bad grade on the assessment coming up, but it will be okay because I have witnessed the miracle of your book and that will console me as I redo English in summer school in a building with no air conditioning. I will also keep the book in mind when I can't get into college because of my bad English grade. And as I go through life, unable to get a job, living on the streets, I will remember your book. And it will all be okay.
You've got to be careful with a house full of gas! Usually when houses blow up, it's because there was the right mixture of oxygen and gas, and it was ignited by something the person did. That could be as simple as turning on a light switch, or even sparking some static electricity from your shiny plastic pants. When the house does blow up, though, the person usually survives, because that's where the explosion starts. There would be absolutely no house left, of course. Just a big gaping hole, and pieces of comic book fluttering around in the wind.
Congratulations on getting the book out!
I got the book today and it was awesome!
Mine featured a moist-browed doctor delivering BadNews.
w00t! I got mine a few days ago; it is awesome! I wish I'd gotten one of those stickers, though--guess I'll get the special edition one next time.
Speaking of which: if you want to offer subscriptions anytime, I'd be all over that.

JJR, the book is faboo! My only issue is the slightly cut off edges, but that issue is so small it can be seen only under a tunnelling electron microscope. Thanks also for the drawing of what I think is a happy frogman. He brings smiles! -Yook, a fan(atic stalker! kidding!)
I got mine yesterday. It's pretty good and I'm looking forward to more Tinkle goodness.

I was very happy to have a new wigu comic to look and laugh at, thank you!
The cover looks slightly askew because the laminate appears to have caused some micro bubbles that are only noticeable up close. If I can't get pictures that illustrate what I'm talking about then consider it of no import. The so-called "cut off edges" were disconcerting at first, but it's kind of an edgy style that's grown on me (excuse the pun).
Doesn't it take some time to color the strip in grayscale then duplex it down(not sure if it's called that but the part where you turn the shades of grey into black dots of varying width and frequency to simulate the shading). I don't know the advantages of printing in that format, but I guess it's the fastest way to print these things.
Thanks a lot for the sketch and stickers, I love it!
I got mine sometime between Wednesday and Saturday (I was out-of-town). It's awesome! The story and art and etc. are all great. I put one sticker on the bumper of my car and haven't figured out what to do with the other sticker. I would appreciate any suggestions.
